The domaine

Château Del Ranq is one of Languedoc's rising stars. In 2018, Laure Barthélémy and Sébastien Freychet settled on the northern slopes of Pic-Saint-Loup in Claret. Initially working 3 hectares, they acquired the family's 10 hectares in 2020. Their vision is to be as close to nature as possible, guided by the biodynamic approach and organic farming that have already been deeply rooted in the family's vineyards since the late 2000s.

The wine 

Surrounded by guarrigue, the roots of Syrah and Grenache deep in layers of limestone, clay and marl will draw out the substance and freshness of the soil and transcribe it in this cuvée honoring the family Château. Vibrant fruit and menthol accompany the beautiful tension of this wine and make it a welcome addition to any summer table.
