Tribute to Notre-Dame - Champagne Cathelin Vintage 2018

This limited edition box contains three bottles of the prestigious Cathelin Grand Cru 2018 cuvée. Crafted by Julien Barbier of R&L Legras, this rare cuvée comes exclusively from the "Les Crosauts" plot in Chouilly, in the heart of the renowned Côte des Blancs, and is made from old vines planted in 1979 and 1983. This champagne reveals a perfect balance between acidity and freshness, the ideal partner for your celebrations.


This cuvée notably pays tribute to the painter Bernard Cathelin, cousin of Claude Terrail, whose studio was located on the 4th floor of the Tour d’Argent. His lithographs "White Roses for Paris" inspired the label of this special edition, where Notre-Dame is seen from the Tower, thus creating a strong link between art and history. It is also a tribute to the Cathedral of Notre-Dame, our most faithful neighbor, and to our rediscovered Paris: its metal lid bears a finely engraved rose window, inspired by the Tour d'Argent logo and the cathedral's iconic stained glass windows, symbols of light and elegance. Once emptied of its precious contents, this box transforms into a unique lantern: insert a light source inside to see the patterns illuminate and project reflections in homage to the stained glass of Notre-Dame, recreating a sparkle of Parisian magic in your home.
