The domain
Founded in 1919, the estate has been run by the Trapet family for four generations. It has vineyards in some of the most prestigious appellations of the Côte de Nuits, notably in Gevrey-Chambertin, Chambertin, and Chapelle-Chambertin, as well as in the Alsace region. The estate is renowned for its commitment to biodynamic viticulture and its respect for the terroir. It produces high-quality red and white wines, seeking elegance and the purity of the fruit in each of the blends.
The wine
A beautifully exposed plot of 75 ares acquired by the ancestor Trapet in 1904, it is one of the prides of the Estate. From vines that are the oldest dating back to 1938, we are presented with a wine where plum, blackberry, and licorice blend with woody notes and velvety tannins.
