The vineyard
The Deiss family has been established in Bergheim, Alsace, not far from Ribeauvillé, since 1947. With biodynamic viticulture at the heart of its philosophy, the estate places respect for the soil and the environment at the heart of its practices. The Deiss family focuses its know-how on terroir rather than grape variety, offering wines with very distinct styles.
The wine
Late Harvest Riesling is a cuvée with intense notes of stone fruits such as apricot and exotic fruits. The residual sugars in this cuvée are well balanced by remarkable tension and a fresh, crispy finish.
