Domaine de l'Aitonnement Solar 2022

Maxime Dancoine took over the aitonnement estate in 2016 and cultivates a wide variety of grape varieties. Nebula is a cuvée made from a forgotten grape variety: douce noire. The wine has remarkable finesse and a very broad range of aromas.

Description

The estate

The vineyard, located in Aiton in Savoie, is run by Maxime Dancoine. The vines benefit from an ideal terroir with steep, south-facing slopes. With such a topography, the winemaker does all the work in the vineyard by hand. The vineyards boast a huge diversity of grape varieties, enabling Maxime Dancoine to produce a wide range of wine styles.

The wine

This cuvée is a single-varietal Altesse, made from two parcels with exceptional exposure. The wine is highly concentrated and aromatic, with notes of fresh almond, elderflower and green fruit. The wine stands out for its remarkable freshness and brilliance.
