The Domaine
It has been founded in 1841, and the prestigious vineyard is located on the Hermitage hill. Jean-Louis Chave embodies the sixteenth generation who works this mythical parcel with the help of his father Gérard. The House is attached to the traditions that made its reputation, with late harvests for perfectly ripe fruits and little intervention during the vinification.
The wine
Its balance, unique freshness, and beautiful aging give it several dozen of years of potential aging. It develops creamy and honeyed aromas of hazelnut, peach, and apricot, along with a rare unctuosity over time.
