The vineyard
The Belargus estate takes its name from the blue butterfly that populates its vineyards. The wines offered here are remarkably precise and, for this reason, among the most sought-after Loire flacons. The estate's 24 hectares are farmed biodynamically. The estate produces a wide variety of parcel-based wines, with the aim of capturing all that the terroir has to offer.
The wine
Ronceray is the name given to dry white wines made from grapes grown on Chaume and Quarts-de-Chaume terroirs. This cuvée from Domaine Belargus is complex, combining floral notes, white fruit aromas and a slight bitterness for a long finish. Cuvée Ronceray is a precise blend of several parcels.
