The domaine
Elian Das Ros has dreamed of being a winemaker ever since he was a child. Inspired by a father who grew cereals, tobacco and vines, he embarked on the path of wine and oenology at an early age. In 1997, after a number of successful years with the Zind-Humbrecht estate in Alsace, he returned to his native South-West and set up the winery of his eponymous domaine in Cocumont, where the adventure began. In 2008, his wife Sandrine joined him and the 19 hectares of vines. The somewhat belated recognition of Elian Da Ros's talent has made his wines sought-after by connoisseurs.
The wine
Le Vin est une Fête is the kind of cuvée that combines pleasure and lightness. A skilful blend of Arbouriou, a grape variety native to the South-West that Elian Da Ros appreciates and loves to bring to light, Cabernet-Franc and Merlot flourish on a soil of clay, silt and limestone to give a wine oriented towards fresh fruit, greedy and intense that we never tire of tasting. Advice: Drink now.
Tasting temperature between 14° and 15°.
