The domain
The estate was established in 1998 when Jean-Louis and Fabienne Mann decided to produce and market their own vintages. They were joined in 2009 by Sébastien Mann, their son, who now expertly manages the estate. The harvest is done by hand and the grapes are meticulously sorted, allowing for the production of exceptionally high-quality wines.
The wine
The Astral Bird is a cuvée made from 100% Gewurztraminer. The grapes come from vines that are about fifty years old, making them very concentrated and offering great aromatic intensity. The cuvée is marked by typical notes of the Alsatian grape variety of rose, lychee, and passion fruit.
