Domaine de l'Aitonnement Vesta 2022

Maxime Dancoine took over the aitonnement estate in 2016 and cultivates a wide variety of grape varieties. Nebula is a cuvée made from a forgotten grape variety: douce noire. The wine has remarkable finesse and a very broad range of aromas.

Description

The estate

The vineyard, located in Aiton in Savoie, is run by Maxime Dancoine. The vines benefit from an ideal terroir with steep, south-facing slopes. With such a topography, the winemaker does all the work in the vineyard by hand. The vineyard boasts a huge diversity of grape varieties, enabling Maxime Dancoine to produce a wide range of wine styles.

The wine

La cuvée Vesta is a perfect reflection of the Savoyard terroir from which it comes, with its freshness and chalky notes. The wine seduces us with notes of green fruit such as pear, alongside notes of white flowers. Thanks to Maxime Dancoine's exceptional expertise, Vesta is concentrated and reveals remarkable aromatic persistence.
