Chablis

The vineyard

The estate belongs to one of the oldest families in Chablis. The first parcel of vines on the estate was cultivated by Jehan Droin in 1547. The Droin family has worked hard for the Chablis appellation, notably Jean-Paul Droin. The estate has achieved excellence thanks to an exceptional knowledge of the terroir passed down from generation to generation.

The wine

This Chablis from Domaine Droin is an expression of the terroir. The indigenous yeasts carry out the fermentation. The use of stainless steel tanks allows the wine to retain its varietal character and the freshness that comes directly from the terroir. Malolactic conversion is carried out to bring complexity and roundness to the wine. This cuvée reveals notes of citrus and green fruit such as pear.
