The vineyard
Domaine Fumey Chatelain is located in Montigny les Arsures, in the Jura region. To date, the family vineyard has 17 hectares of vines. With a view to respecting the environment, the vineyard has been undergoing biodynamic conversion since 2022.
The wine
This cuvée is a single-varietal Chardonnay. The use of indigenous yeasts allows the terroir to be fully reflected. The wine was fermented and matured in casks for 1 year and a half, giving it an excellent balance between smoothness and tension, and a wide range of aromas, from primary aromas of green fruit to more complex notes of fresh wood and toast.
