The vineyard
In the Loire Valley, south of Angers, Bénédicte and Luc Briand manage their 30-hectare vineyard with the greatest respect for the environment and the vines. The soils are variations on different types of schist and volcanic rock, so each of the estate's cuvées has its own distinctive style.
The wine
This cuvée is a single-varietal Chenin from a single plot. The plot's south/south-west orientation enables the grapes to reach full ripeness and develop notes of ripe yellow fruit. Hand-work and careful ageing produce a wine of great quality and complexity.
