The Domaine
The Pellé story began in Morogues in the 20th century. The estate is a treasure of parcels spread over the typical flint and Kimmeridgian marl soils. It is a strength the Pellé family places at the heart of their wine philosophy, aiming to sublimate every locality in its possession by vinifying them individually. In 2007, the vines, handed down from father to son, came back into the hands of the young Paul-Henry, assisted by the oenologist Julien Zernott. The estate nowadays extends over forty-two hectares and has become a key player in the appellation.
The wine
This fresh wine offers licorice notes. The vintage has a perfect balance in the mouth and harmonious finale.
