The vineyard
Guillaume d'Angerville, owner of Domaine Marquis d'Angerville, wanted to produce other styles of wine and work with other grape varieties. So in 2012, together with François Duvivier, he created Domaine du Pélican. Guillaume d'Angerville and François Duvivier are convinced that to produce great wines, you have to take care of your vineyards, soils and terroir in a holistic way.
The wine
The Jura's flagship grape variety, Savagnin produces mineral, powerful wines. At Domaine du Pélican, this cuvée is a blend of several parcels, all with different soils and exposures, resulting in a perfectly balanced wine. This incomparably fresh cuvée is dominated by notes of citrus and exotic fruit.
