Le domaine
The vineyard was established in 1966 and is still owned by the Ostertag family, headed by Arthur Ostertag, the third generation of the family. Biodynamically managed, the estate's top priority is respect for nature and the soil. To ensure quality, the grapes are harvested by hand.
Le vin
At Fronholz, the Pinot Noirs produced by Domaine Ostertag are very elegant, with floral notes of rose petals. Remarkably silky tannins contribute to the wine's elegance.Thanks to highly controlled yields, the grapes are concentrated, resulting in a wine with intense red fruit aromas.
