The vineyard

The vineyard, located in Aiton in Savoie, is run by Maxime Dancoine. The vines benefit from an optimum terroir with steep, south-facing slopes. With such a topography, the winemaker does all the work in the vineyard by hand. The vineyard has a wide variety of grape varieties, enabling Maxime Dancoine to produce a multitude of wine styles.

The wine

Cuvée Nebula is a monocépage of douce noir, a forgotten otochthonous grape variety. This cuvée is distinguished by notes of violets and black fruit, with ripe, subtle tannins.
