    Description

    The Domaine

This mythical estate was created in 1872 by William Ponsot who bought vines in the commune of Morey-Saint-Denis, in particular the plot of Monts Luisants and Clos de la Roche. Generations pass and it is notably Laurent Ponsot with his sister Rose-Marie who will give the commercial impulse and will make discover the already famous vintages at the international level. Today, the domain remains on a peasant philosophy, very respectful of nature, limiting human intervention to a maximum. The vines are pampered, and the vinification is serious, respecting the origin of the grapes but without distorting the philosophy of the domain. The wines are neither fined nor filtered.

    The wine

The vintage 2001 and exceptional work in the estate gave birth to extremely complex and deep wines.
