    Description

    The domain

The Domaine La Mordorée is a historic estate in Côte-Rôtie, founded by the Faurie family. They primarily cultivate Syrah on steep terraces, with great respect for the terroir and the environment.

    The wine

On this vintage, animal and smoky notes, typical of Côte-Rôtie, blend with hints of leather and tobacco. The palate is supple and velvety, with melted but still well-present tannins. The finish, on the other hand, is persistent, marked by notes of ripe fruits, spices, and smoke.
