The domain
Founded in 1936 by Gabriel Meffre, the estate has been passed down from generation to generation and is now run by his descendants. Gabriel Meffre established a solid reputation by producing high-quality wines, primarily from the Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre grape varieties, typical of the region.
The wine
The Gigondas Hommage à Gabriel Meffre 2010 is a powerful and elegant wine, offering a beautiful expression of the Gigondas terroir. This 2010 vintage is already pleasant to drink, but it has excellent aging potential. With time, it will develop more complex aromas of cedar, tobacco, and underbrush.
