The domain
The Marcoux estate is a family-owned vineyard located in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, in the Rhône Valley. Founded in the early 20th century, it is now run by sisters Bernard and Marie-Françoise. The estate is known for its wines that reflect the unique terroir of the appellation, particularly thanks to its old vines and environmentally friendly viticulture.
The wine
On the palate, the wine is powerful and structured, with well-integrated tannins and a beautiful roundness. We find flavors of ripe dark fruits, cocoa, and licorice, complemented by a spicy finish with notes of garrigue.
