The domain
The château is owned by the Frey family, with Caroline Frey leading the winemaking. The Château is located in Ludon-Médoc on the left bank of the Garonne. Aging plays a central role in the wines of La Lagune, adding complexity while preserving the finesse of the fruit.
The wine
The wine is a harmonious and balanced blend of cabernet sauvignon, merlot, and petit verdot. The wine is aged in new French oak barrels, 50%. Thanks to this aging and bottle maturation, the wine reveals complexity with toasted notes of dark chocolate, tobacco, vanilla, and cinnamon.
