    Description

    The domain

The estate was created in the 18th century. In 1983, Keizo Saji, the son of the founder of Suntory, bought Château Lagrange from the Cendoya family, who had owned it since 1925. The estate covers 118 hectares. After the purchase of the estate by Keizo Saji, the estate operates in a parcel-based manner.

    The wine

This cuvée is the result of a blend of a majority of cabernet sauvignon and merlot. The wine comes from a selection of plots and intra-plot selections. The aging of the wine is done in barrels, with 60% of them being new, which gives the wine all its complexity with notes of fresh wood, cinnamon, and vanilla. Thanks to a significant tannic structure, the wine was able to age in the cellar and retain its brilliance.
