The estate

The estate, run by the Lafarge family, is a benchmark in Volnay, and has been practising organic viticulture for several decades. The 12-hectare estate is located in Volnay in the Côte de Beaune and is renowned for producing very fine pinot noir.

The wine

Volnay Vendanges Sélectionnées is a cuvée made from the best plots in the appellation, hand-picked to preserve the quality of the grapes. The tannins in this cuvée have softened over the years. The wine is distinguished by notes of red cherry and strawberry jam.
