The estate

Founded in 1628, this historic estate in Ribeauvillé is now run by Pierre and Jean Trimbach. The vineyards are planted on magnificent terroirs. The work in the vineyard and in the cellar is traditional, enabling the estate to retain its own distinctive style year after year.

The wine

Clos Sainte-Hune has belonged to the Trimbach family for over two hundred years. This Clos, with its exceptional terroir, extends over 1 hectare 67. Clos Sainte-Hune wines are very rare, with only a few bottles produced each vintage. Thanks to the optimal soil and exposure, the Riesling from this plot is concentrated, aromatic and long-lasting. It has extraordinary ageing potential, developing notes of dried fruit and orange peel.
