    Description

    The domain

From Étienne Camuzet, founder and former owner of the Château du Clos Vougeot, to Jean Méo and the highly esteemed Henri Jayer, former tenant of the estate, the success and merit of the Méo-Camuzet estate has been built over the decades thanks to a deeply familial heritage. Jean-Nicolas Méo continues to write history in his own way.

    The wine

The 2001 Échézeaux from Méo-Camuzet is a masterpiece of finesse and complexity. Coming from an exceptional plot, this Grand Cru reveals intense aromas of red fruits, underbrush, and spices. Its silky texture and length on the palate reveal a subtle maturity, promising remarkable aging potential.
