The domain

William Ponsot established his business north of Nuits-Saint-Georges in 1872. Located on legendary terroirs, it is particularly known for its Grand Cru Clos de la Roche. Marie-Rose, the fourth generation, has been overseeing the estate since early 2017. Supported by Alexandre Abel, she favors a low-intervention viticulture, and her wines faithfully reflect the character of the soils.



The wine

Notes of morello cherries and blackcurrant, with aromas of pepper and fresh leather. Agreement: extra on a ribeye steak.



Service tips

Can be still stored in the cellar.

Does not require decanting.

To be served preferably around 15°C - 17°C.
