1/2 Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru

The domain

Created at the end of the 19th century by Jean Grivot, it is now managed by Etienne Grivot. The estate covers an area of 14.72 hectares and produces 18 wines, mostly reds, including some Grand Crus like Richebourg and Clos-de-Vougeot. The estate follows a biological logic without certification.



The wine

In the commune of Flagey-Echezeaux but attached to the Vosne-Romanée appellation, this Premier Cru nestled between the Aux Brulées and Échezeaux climates presents itself as smooth and charming, showcasing a red fruit of great elegance and a gentle, almost warm spice that contrasts with the sometimes austere character of the Grivot style before 2012.
