The domain

William Ponsot established his business north of Nuits-Saint-Georges in 1872. Situated on legendary terroirs, it is particularly known for its Grand Cru Clos de la Roche. Marie-Rose, the fourth generation, has been overseeing the estate since the beginning of 2017. Supported by Alexandre Abel, she favors a low-intervention viticulture, and her wines faithfully reflect the character of the soils.



The wine

The mouth remains complex and dense, with subtle notes of dark fruits, leather, and pepper.
