The domain

The first buildings of the estate date back to the early 19th century, and the vicissitudes of nature and time, sometimes the phylloxera, sometimes war, have nearly taken their toll on this estate. It was in 1949 that Auguste Clape, husband of the owners' daughter, arrived at the estate, which at that time had four hectares of vineyards. He decides, along with his wife and a few neighboring producers, to create a wine market, which encourages them to bottle their wine on the estate and to develop the reputation of their production. Since Auguste left us, his son Pierre and his grandson Olivier are at the helm, implementing sustainable farming practices and selective parceling. Wines with a refined profile offer beautiful power and complexity.

A superb vintage from Cornas that offers notes of dark fruits and sweet spices.

Can be still stored in a cellar.

Does not require decanting.

To be served preferably around 15°C - 17°C degrees.
