The domain
This trading house, founded in 1880 by Joseph Drouhin, is now managed by his descendants and relies on a vineyard of 72 hectares, spread across the finest appellations of Burgundy. The wines that come from there are known for their unparalleled finesse.
The wine
This climate is gently sloping, facing east and characterized by brown limestone soil, composed of beautiful clays. It is installed on a slab of Bajocian limestone. The robust, full-bodied wines, rich in substance and destined for long aging. The wine expresses itself with animal and spicy notes, hints of underbrush and prunes, evolving towards musk, leather, fur, and mushrooms.
