The estate
The estate was founded in 1946 by Etienne Guigal in the heart of Ampuis. Marcel Guigal took over in 1961, followed by Philippe Guigal. The vineyard is one of the legendary estates of the Rhône Valley. Famous for its Côte-Rotie parcels of La Landonne, La Turque, and La Mouline, the estate continues to expand in the Rhône region, offering us Condrieu, Crozes-Hermitage, and Châteauneuf.
The wine
This cuvée is complex, with aromas of black fruits, spices, and a floral touch from the Viognier. The palate is powerful and structured, with well-integrated tannins, beautiful fruit concentration, and great aromatic persistence.
