    The estate

    Over the course of several decades, the Sabon family has elevated Domaine de la Janasse, formerly the name of the family farm located in a place called “La Janasse,” to the ranks of the stars of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. It is now a must-visit estate covering some 50 hectares.

    The wine

    The wine displays aromas of ripe black fruits, spices, garrigue, and leather. On the palate, it is rich and powerful, with silky tannins and balanced freshness. The finish is long and warm, marked by notes of licorice and elegant freshness.
