The domain
Marlène Soria created the estate in the early 1990s in Saint-Pargoire, west of Montpellier. Originally, the winemaker only wanted to produce wine for her own consumption, but her story took a different turn when she was noticed by Robert Parker and then by La Revue du vin de France for the high quality of her wines.
The wine
This blend of Syrah and Grenache comes from vines originating in clay-limestone terroirs. Thanks to the aging in the bottle, the wine now displays tertiary notes of leather and smoked bacon. With time at work, the aging has perfectly integrated into the wine, giving way to very smooth woody notes and silky tannins.
