The domain

Perched on the hill of the Hermitage, this prestigious estate was established in 1841 from family lands received at the end of the 15th century. Alongside his father Gérard, Jean-Louis Chave embodies the sixteenth generation working this mythical land. The house is tied to the traditions that have made its reputation, among which are late harvests for perfectly ripe fruits and a low-intervention winemaking process.



The wine

The Hermitage Blanc by Jean-Louis Chave has the potential to age for several decades due to its unique balance, freshness, and beautiful maturation. Developing creamy and honeyed aromas of hazelnut, peach, and apricot, it simultaneously offers a freshness and a smoothness of rare elegance.
