Located in the heart of the Beaune amphitheater, this 1er cru is voluptuous and very well structured, with aromas of red fruits, currants, blueberries. An intense but also very refined mouth. Rounded tannins come to decorate this palate. A real moment of joy.

    Description

    The estate

Originally from Chorey-lès-Beaune, the estate comprises 24 hectares, managed by three cousins. The work is conscientious, close to nature. The ploughed soils with no addition of fertilizers, a limited yield makes the result very serious and gives elegant and balanced wines that perfectly represent the appellations produced.

    The wine

A naturally more robust wine due to its geographical location, it generally combines power and finesse. The name Grèves refers to its soil made of sand and gravel. 2011 was an early year, a lot of heat in the first cycles, it will give our wine a rich mouth, with fine tannins. The low acidity will give a supple mouthfeel with superb aromas of red fruits with very round tannins.

A delight with a rib of beef or a breaded pork chop.
