The Domaine
Founded in 1880, the company was initially oriented towards the wine trade. It took off during the first world war with the purchase of beautiful plots of land around Beaune but also in the Côte de Nuits, such as Bonnes Mares or Echezeau. A precursor in many fields, it will introduce in Beaune the reasoned culture with a limitation of the yields and fertilizers... Today, this house has succeeded in acquiring an international reputation. With 72 hectares of vineyards scattered throughout Burgundy, the Beaune region nevertheless remains their historical heritage.
The wine
The name comes from the beekeeping activity which is very popular on this parcel, with a stony soil, it gives red wines on the fruit, with notes of cherry and spices.
