The domain

The Château d'Ampuis cuvée comes from 7 historic plots of Côte-Rôtie, whose vines are about 50 years old. It is composed mainly of Syrah, with an addition of Viognier, typical of the appellation.



The wine

The cuvée is complex, with aromas of dark fruits, spices, and a floral touch due to the Viognier. The palate is powerful and structured, with well-integrated tannins, a beautiful concentration of fruit, and great aromatic persistence.
