    Description

    The domain

Château La Cardonne obtained the status of Cru Bourgeois in 1932. In 1973, the Domaines Barons de Rothschild-Lafite acquired it and launched a major replanting project. In 1990, Guy Charloux bought the estate, modernized the winery, and built an underground cellar nicknamed "the cathedral." In 2018, it became a Cru Bourgeois Supérieur.

    The wine

The tannins are firm and precise. The wine reveals aromas of black fruits and slightly woody notes. Today, the wine reveals aromas of graphite and underbrush. The structure is harmonious with a beautiful freshness.
