    Description

    The domain

William Ponsot had the intuition to settle in Côte-d’Or north of Nuits-Saint-Georges in 1872. Settled on mythical terroirs, it is particularly known for its Grand Cru Clos de la Roche. Marie-Rose, the fourth generation, has been overseeing the estate since the beginning of 2017. Supported by Alexandre Abel, she favors a low-intervention viticulture, and her wines faithfully reflect the identity of the soils.

    The wine

The Grand Cru Clos de la Roche combines elegance and power. Thanks to its aromatic intensity and concentration, this Pinot Noir has benefited from years of aging in the cellar and now reveals aromas of forest moss and fresh mushrooms.
