The domain
Located within the Côte de Nuits, Clos-de-Tart is one of the five Grand Crus of the commune of Morey-Saint-Denis. It stands out as the only Burgundy appellation that has never been divided since its origin in 1141. Since 1932, the nearly eight hectares of Clos-de-Tart and its eponymous estate have been exclusively owned by the Mommessin family.
The wine
The wine offers notes of kirsch and black truffle. The tannins, having benefited from aging, are very fine and silky. Thanks to a great concentration, the wine has been able to withstand the test of time and gain in complexity.
