The domain

Coume del Mas is owned by the Gard family, and its creation dates back to 1997. Located on the Spanish border, the estate extends over coastal lands that were deserted because they were difficult to work. After a lot of clearing and replanting work, the result is more than convincing.



The wine

The Quadratur cuvée is the result of blending Grenache, Mourvèdre, and Carignan vines. Thanks to a cold pre-fermentation maceration, the wine opens up with notes of small red fruits. After more than a decade in the cellar, the tannins are silky and leather aromas contribute to the wine's complexity.
