    Description

    The domain

Created in 1830 by Etienne Baldès, the estate is still in the family fold 6 generations later. It is managed by Jean-Luc Baldès. Located in the heart of the Cahors appellation next to the village of Puy-L'évêque, the estate offers an area of 70 hectares, with work that respects nature and the terroir.

    The wine

The cuvée gets its name from the nickname given by the English to Cahors wine, the black wine; this exceptional cuvée from Clos Triguedina comes from a plot of 1.30 hectares. After years in the bottle, the notes of very ripe black fruits in this Malbec blend with tertiary aromas of spices and tobacco.
