    Description

    The domain

Château Beychevelle, located in Saint-Julien en Médoc, was founded in the 17th century. It gained prestige under the Beychevelle family in the 18th century. Ranked 4th grand cru in 1855, it is renowned for its refined wines.

    The wine

This typical Left Bank blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, and Merlot offers a wine with notes of ripe dark fruits and silky, smooth tannins: signs of careful aging. The wine is very complex with aromas of vanilla, cocoa, and tobacco. The 2009 vintage in Bordeaux is exceptional, the concentrated and intense wine can wait for years in the cellar.
