    Description

    The domain

Located in the commune of Saint-Estèphe, the family vineyard dates back to 1770 but gains prestige when Hervé Duboscq acquires it in 1952. The self-taught winemaker is joined by his son Henri about ten years later, and the passionate duo succeeds in crowning their work with a fine reputation, one of the best in the Bordeaux appellation. Their wines are powerful and characteristically evoke spices, due to the late harvest of the grape clusters. Cultivated with sustainable farming practices, the vines are ideally exposed, giving rise to bottles praised by critics that would be a shame to miss.

    The wine

The wine is a blend of cabernet franc, cabernet sauvignon, and merlot. This wine is balanced between structure, tannins, and aromatic power. The wine, complex, stands out with notes of dark fruits such as plum and more intricate notes of cocoa, tobacco, and vanilla.
