The domain
Created in 1959, the estate currently cultivates 40 hectares of vines spread across very different soils, constituting the geological cradle of the greatest Alsatian grape varieties and forming a total of about ten terroirs.
The wine
The Grand Cru Goldert is spread over a gentle slope oriented to the east. On this terroir, the ripening is late, and the grapes that come from it are very concentrated. On the Grand Cru, the Zind-Humbrecht estate offers us a Gewurztraminer with unparalleled aromatic intensity, featuring notes of roses, lychee, and passion fruit. The wine has developed complexity with years of aging and now reveals notes of marmalade, among others.
