The domain

Château Haut-Brion is owned by the Dillon family. Today led by the fourth generation of the family, the estate produces some of the most sought-after wines in the world. Indeed, the gravel soils on which the vines thrive give birth to legendary wines.



The wine

This 2000 vintage is a very harmonious blend of merlot, cabernet sauvignon, and cabernet franc.The 75% of new barrels used brings complexity to the wine with notes of cinnamon and vanilla. Thanks to the years spent in the cellar, the wine reveals notes of smoked bacon and the tannins have rounded out, giving way to an elegant wine supported by tertiary notes.

Can be stored in the cellar.

Open a few hours in advance and/or decant.

To be served preferably around 15°C - 17°C degrees.
