Sem, Jacques and then Guillaume d'Angerville, a magnificent legacy from father to son that continues with one guiding principle: the love of wine and Burgundy. Owned by the Marquis d'Angerville since 1888, they are the primary reason for the high quality and beauty of these wines, a veritable ode to the terroir of Volnay.
The wine
Clos des Ducs is a monopoly of the Marquis d'Angerville estate. This cuvée is a beautiful interpretation of the Volnay terroir. The tannins are harmoniously integrated into the wine, and the texture is very elegant and fluid. Tertiary notes such as truffle and undergrowth contribute to the wine's complexity.
