David Duband founded his domaine in 1991, in conjunction with his father, who had been cultivating vines since the mid-1960s. With the Hautes-Côtes-de-Nuits appellation, its wines are among the most sought-after in the region.

The wine

Domaine Duband's 2005 ‘Échézeaux’ cuvée is a distinguished grand cru, with aromas of black fruit, spices and undergrowth. This wine has an elegant structure, well-integrated tannins and great depth, offering remarkable ageing potential.
