The estate

A benchmark in Pommard, Domaine de Courcel is only 10 hectares in size, but produces in superb vineyards such as Les Grands Épenots. The vines are grown using non-certified organic methods.

The wine

This wine comes from one of the finest terroirs in Pommard. On the palate, it has a fine structure and concentrated red fruit aromas. With years of ageing behind it, the tannins are harmoniously integrated into the wine and the fruitiness evolves towards tertiary notes testifying to its evolution.
